| Parking | Unimproved gravel boat launch that leads to the gravel bar on the South Fork of the Fortymile River. Launch can accompany small and nonmotorized craft with a parking area for trucks and trailers. Boat ramp is exposed to the river current and is not easy to use. Long-term parking is available, but overnight camping is not allowed at the South Fork Bridge Wayside. It is recommended to read through the BLM brochure under “More info” before boating or floating the Fortymile River and/or any of its tributaries. |
