| Parking | River access is approximately ¼ mile Northwest of the campground entrance. Unimproved gravel boat launch that leads to the gravel bar on the West Fork of the Dennison River. Launch can accompany small craft with a long-term parking area south of the bridge. Much of the summer, the West Fork of the Dennison River can be shallow, require dragging of canoes or rafts. It is recommended to read through the BLM brochure under “More info” before boating or floating the Fortymile River and/or any of its tributaries. |
