Boat Ramp Atlas

About

Public boat ramps in the United States are catalogued by the agency that happens to own the shoreline. Florida’s are in one state inventory, Wisconsin’s in another, the federal ones in a third. If you want to know what is on the next lake over, there has been nowhere to look.

Boat Ramp Atlas puts 27,261 of them in one place, keeping every field attributed to the agency that published it.

It is not a review site. What it shows is what the managing agencies record, which means it is as current as they are and no more. You can report a problem with a ramp from its page, and a person checks every report against the agency’s own record before a page changes — nothing is published unreviewed. Always confirm access, fees and conditions before you travel.
