SAWMILL POINT ACCESS

This site is adjacent to primitive campsites on Cook Pond. The boat ramp is gravel. This is a small site that gets full quickly on summer weekends.  Other Cooke Pond launches are located at Pine Acres and at Cooke Dam. From Oscoda - Travel west on E. River Rd. for 14 miles. Turn right and travel north on Cooke Dam Rd. for 1.25 miles. Turn left and travel west on FR 2088 for .25 miles. Take right fork onto FR 2087 and drive to entrance.
